Coming into Christmas Eve, we remember the star and the One who came.  Peace to all who know Him and may his love reach out and be felt even by those who don't yet know Him.  Blessed Christmas to all....

As we wind the year down to the winter solstice on December 22nd, it is a time to think about how even darkness has its limits as ordained by Almighty God.  Even at His creation, He limited the length of darkness with his Holy light when He created the first day.  There is no darkness that cannot be pierced by His power.  Even as we watch an ever-darkening world, We as believers know that Jesus came as the Light of the world and his Light will never fade or dim.  I need to remember this and meditate on His Glorious Light.

Sometimes the simplest times are the best, 'less is more' teaches us so many lessons about life.  I am constantly distilling great truths to their essence to appreciate them more!

2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. Matthew 18:2-5

May we never become too grown up for our own good; instead, hook and create and play to our heart's delight :)

Thinking about being thankful....

These are gifts given to children who are lucky enough to have parents who instill them as they are growing up.  My hope is that one day we, as a people, realize we have been chasing the wrong dream and finally begin to treat each other well....
